Frequently Asked Questions

Reservations

• Do I need a reservation?

Reservations are recommended, but not required. A reservation will guarantee you a space and is highly recommended for peak travel times.

• How do I make a reservation?

Just pick your location (Seattle or Portland), then enter the dates of your stay and click “Make Reservation”. Next, in the “cart” you complete the required information and click “Place Reservation”. It’s that easy. Your reservation is made and you can relax. We’ll have a parking spot waiting for you when you arrive.

• Do I need to pay a reservation deposit?

We do not charge a reservation fee or deposit for our standard Web Special Rate.  However, we also make available special savings opportunities and promotional rates that do require a non-refundable deposit at time of booking.

• When will I receive my confirmation?

You receive your confirmation two ways. At the end of the booking process a confirmation screen will display links to your printable reservation. You will also receive an e-mail confirmation.

• I don’t have an e-mail address. Can I still make a booking?

Yes, you can call the location directly and we will be happy to complete your booking. You can find our phone numbers under Help – Contact Us

• Can I make a reservation for the Seattle Self-Park lot?

Sorry, but we do not accept reservations for the Seattle Self-Park lot.

• What happens if I pick my car up later than the time I dropped it off?

We calculate daily charges on a 24-hour clock. If you stay beyond your drop-off time, the charges are determined based on the hourly rate. When the number of hours you stayed over times the hourly rate would exceed the daily rate, you are charged the daily rate. Your reservation quote does not account for extra hour charges, these are calculated upon return.

• How do I change or cancel a reservation?

If you happen to change your mind before your reservation date for any reason at all, it’s no problem. Just let us know. You can cancel your reservation through the “My Account” menu link or just email us at the email address on your e-mail confirmation. Contact us for assistance in changing or canceling your reservation. There is no fee to change a reservation.

Rates & Payment

• What form of payment do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards: American Express, Diners Club, Discover, MasterCard, and Visa. We do not accept business or personal checks.

• How do I pay at the Seattle Economy Self-Park lot?

Payment is required before you travel. Use the convenient self-service stations to enter in the numbers of days you plan to stay, and then pay with any major credit card. If your trip is extended for any reason, please contact us to pay for any additional days.

• What is considered an “Oversized” vehicle?

These are large vehicles that exceed a normal sized parking stall. The Oversized Vehicle surcharge will not be reflected in your reservation quote, but added to your final charges when you return. We do not park RV’s. We do not accept oversized vehicles at our Seattle Self-Park lot.

• My actual charges were different than my reservation quote

Reservation charges are estimates only. Your final charges will vary depending on actual check-in, check-out time, length of stay, discount qualifications, and size of vehicle. Rates do not include taxes, fees and surcharges. A final charge is computed upon return.

• Why do I get charged for a full day for the time I stay past drop-off time by a few hours?

We calculate daily charges on a 24-hour clock. If you stay beyond your drop-off time, the charges are determined based on the hourly rate. When the number of hours you stayed over times the hourly rate would exceed the daily rate, you are charged the daily rate.

• Cars parked beyond original return date

Vehicles parked more than 30 days without prior arrangement are subject to removal per RCW 46.55.010

Discounts & Coupons

• How do online promo codes work?

Just enter a qualifying promo code during your online check-out. No need to bring a coupon with you. However, for online discounts you will need to present a qualifying ID, such as a AAA card, military ID, etc at time of return.

• How do coupons work?

Coupon specials vary by season and have expiration dates. To take advantage of these offers, just print out the coupon and bring it with you. Coupons MUST be presented to the cashier upon return. Coupon specials will not be reflected in your reservation quote.

Facilities & Shuttles

• Are you always open?

We are open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

• Are your facilities secured?

Yes, all our parking facilities are well lit and enclosed within security fence. In addition, all lots have 24 hour video surveillance and personnel monitoring the grounds around the clock.

• How often do your shuttles run?

Courtesy Shuttles run on demand, which is usually every five to seven minutes to and from the airport terminals. You will be picked up at your vehicle and driven to a shuttle stop at your airport terminal. When you return, you will be picked up at the same place you were dropped off and returned to your vehicle.

• When should I arrive?

Please allow an additional 10 to 15 minutes to your normal pre-flight schedule.

Vehicle Restrictions

• Any vehicle size limitations?

We reserves the right to charge a surcharge on, or decline, certain oversized or modified vehicles. Vehicles longer than a Dodge Grand Caravan incur a surcharge. (Measuring over 17 feet bumper to bumper). For questions please call the location.

• Do you accept RV’s?

Sorry, we do not accept RV’s at this time.

• Cars parked beyond original return date

My Account

• Why create an account?

When you create an account all of your personal account information, previous receipts and reservations will be accessible online. This allows you to better monitor, modify or cancel future reservations online.

• What information do I need to create an account?

We collect only the minimal information necessary, such as name, email, address and phone. We never ask for a credit card. We do not require any form of payment to make a reservation.
